He had all the reasons to be shocked because his picture was right there in the obituary column; the part of the newspaper which reports deaths. The headline of his death news read,
The Dynamite King Dies
When he was going through the details with utmost curiosity, he came across a line which read,
He was a merchant of death.
The man felt really disturbed. At first, his shock was limited to the news of his death but after knowing the details, he was was worried about a lot more than that.
Then occurred to him the thought which changed his life. He thought, "Is this how I want to be remembered?" The answer was a clear no. He didn't want to be remembered as a merchant of death. It was certainly not the way he wished to be remembered.
Who Was This Man?
The man was Alfred Nobel. Ever heard of Nobel Prize? I bet you did. This is how hes remembered despite being the inventor of dynamite bomb. The visionary thought caused by a wrong newspaper item changed his life.

A man destined to die as a villain chose to die as a hero and see how we remember him? Did you even know about his destructive business? I bet no.

How Would You Like To Be Remembered?
Think about it. How do you want to be remembered?
- A person who came to the world, ate, grew up, produced children, paid bills and died? Or an individual who left something for the world to relish?
- A person who remained selfish and collected unfair amounts of wealth only to die without pockets? Or a person who did something worth a mention and respect?
The choice is yours.
The choice is always ours.We can live like 2 billion people who come to the world, fulfill basic needs and die. Or we can live like the top 1-3 % inspirational individuals who add value to the lives of people and make this world a better place. Its all about our thinking.
We can always make a positive difference.
