Well in the spirit of my last post, this was a day where I truly got nothing done. The thing is, that "nothing" was supposed to be a pregnant pause, a time for turning inward and letting important things brew.
Today was really, really n.o.t.h.i.n.g!
I even tried to do one thing, which was to make my first post with the Actifit app. You have to reach 5k steps for it to count and the entire day I only got less than half that. I even started the day by walking the dog for about 15-20 minutes. Clearly this is something I'm not going to be accomplishing at all.
I also studied up on crypto a bit more, which resulted in my consolidating more of my positions. I really don't want to have more than a dozen coins, though there are easily 3 dozen that I find attractive.
I'm going to try to not mess with my portfolio anymore and just let it ride for the next couple years at least.
Do you ever regret moving your coins off exchange?
I never seem to correctly anticipate the ones I will want long enough for cold storage to make sense. Fees, fees, fees.
For the balance of the day I suppose I'll just waste time playing games on my laptop LOL. All I know for sure is that I have to stop researching crypto, or I'll just wind up growing my pile again.
My favorite holdings right now are STEEM (of course), OMG, NANO, and XLM. I wish I had more NANO, but I'm not willing to sell anything to get it and I'm all in cash-wise already. I'm also rooting for NEO to come back from the dead. ONT I'm waiting to come back so that I can sell it without as great a loss. That's one coin I wish I'd never bought.
How's your portfolio doing today? Did the decline today lead you to do any buying or selling? Did the rise of the previous week? Are you unresponsive to the market movements and just in a holding pattern?
Well, hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more eventful. It feels weird to even think about going to bed tonight, since I'm not sure today actually happened. But that's about all I can report today, other than the fact that for dinner I made chicken, rice and veggies for the first time since moving here a couple months ago. Confirmed the rice cooker still works. 😊
(My dog seemed very happy with that, as we used to have chicken and rice a lot. And yes, in addition to her dog food, she also eats a little of whatever protein I eat. Which includes no dairy, eggs, or legumes, since I'm allergic to all of them, though occasionally I'll torture myself with butter.)
Good night.
