Assalamualaikum
Sahih al-Bukhori: 1811
عن أنس بن مالك قال:
كنا نسافر مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم, المفطر, ولا المفطر على الصائم.
From Anas ibn Malik, he said:
We used to travel with the Prophet. The one who fasts does not reproach the one who breaks fast and the one who breaks fast also does not (denounce) the fasting.
Message:
- Given the convenience for the person who is safar (long distance) not to fast.
- But if the person feels strong and fasting will not adversely affect his body, then it is allowed to fast during safar.
- Islam teaches for mutual tolerance among Muslims, by not blaming each other and appreciating if there is a difference.
