Today I spent a perfect day with new friends in a mountain lodge at about 1,600 meters above sea level.
The day began with a short walk to reach the hut between the forests of Valmalenco (in Italy, near the Swiss border).
Once we arrived at our destination, we started cooking in this lovely place where even electricity does not come. We cooked a local recipe (called "polenta concia") and meat on the fire.
We spent the rest of the time chatting in the sun respecting the peace and quiet of this enchanting place.
