Hello all,
This post is about a little 50cc monster Peugeot Speedfight "50cc" Scooter made by my good friend .
Review: 2008. (2007.) Peugeot Speedfight 50cc
The 2008 Peugeot Speedfight 50cc stands as a perennial favorite in the fiercely competitive 50cc scooter market, largely due to its sporty aesthetics and reliable performance. This model, part of the widely acclaimed Speedfight series, remains popular among young riders and commuters seeking an economical and stylish ride.
Reminder... Made In 2007. ....so this is 18 years old model and still looks very young
Design and Style:
The Speedfight 2008 model boasts a sharp, aggressive design clearly inspired by larger sports bikes.
GORAN (owner/creator) SMOKING....NOT GOOD !!!
Its aerodynamic fairings, distinctive twin headlights, and comfortable dual seat give it a premium, athletic look that sets it apart from many utilitarian competitors. The build quality is generally solid, capable of withstanding the rigors of daily use.
Performance and Engine:
Equipped with a dependable 50cc two-stroke engine (often air or liquid-cooled, depending on the specific variant) this model is liquid cooled, the Speedfight provides brisk acceleration ideal for urban environments. While legally restricted to speeds around 50 km/h (sorry but this one is much faster), its quick pick-up makes navigating traffic straightforward. The handling is agile, thanks to its lightweight chassis and good suspension setup,
especially it`s front suspension making it fun to ride on tight city streets and hard curves. Braking is gorgeous !!! It is a scooter but I repeat BRAKING IS GORGEOUS 😎😎😎
Exhaust system and some orher "small" adjustments on engine and transmission made by can take this little Peugeot up to 90km/h and more...
This is not very legal and this is the reason Why is aiming to drive it on the race track.
Features and Practicality:
Practical features include under-seat storage sufficient for a full-face helmet (though snug) or a big air tunnel if you modifie it, a standard side stand and centre stand (is about to be removed because of weight reduction), and an easy-to-read dashboard. A key selling point for many riders is the effective braking system(will be enchanced by BREMBO brake callipers), which typically features a front disc brake providing confident stopping power. Manufacturer says :"Fuel efficiency is excellent, keeping running costs low" NOT FOR LONG. Because if you want a fast scooter on the race track, fuel consumption does`t matter ;)
Conclusion:
The 2008 Peugeot Speedfight 50cc is more than just a means of transportation; it's a statement. It offers a winning combination of sporty looks, sprightly performance, and daily reliability. For those looking for a stylish, practical, and fun entry-level scooter, the Speedfight 50cc from 2008 is a highly recommended choice.
Don`t do this at home or show this post to your kids :)
Just kidding.
This Peugeot Speedfight2 is about to be ready to race soon.
Cheeres !!!
