Rebazar Tarz is a Tibetan who was head of the ECK community many years ago. Tibet was then a spiritual mecca, and the teachings of Eckankar passed by word of mouth, from teacher to pupil. He looks to be in his meddle thirties but is over 500 years old in his physical body. Rebazar Tarz stayed on earth for 75 years teaching ECK, then he retired in the same body to the spiritual city of Agam Des.
Rebazar Tarz stands about six feet in height and wears a full, neatly trimmed beard as thick as black wool. His hands are large and square, testimony to the rugged outdoor life he enjoys. meet him during soul travel, or otherwise, and you'll see a strong, deeply tanned traveler, master of every possible situation, one whose knowledge of the far country is encyclopedic. he has dedicated his entire life to helping others find the perfection of God.
A special feature about Rebazar Tarz is his eyes. they are like two dark pools, for they seem to see and know all, Full of compassion and mercy, these all-seeing eyes serve both as a mirror for soul. to look into them is to become lost in the Sound and Light of God'
Rebazar Tazr was born in 1461. His childhood home was Sarana, a mountain village in northern Tiet, and he served as the Mahanta, Living ECK Master during the superstitious Middle Ages. Rebazar Tarz along with Fubbl Quantz, was involved with the inner guidance of Christopher Columbus. Rebazar's direct gaze misses nothing. the robe he wears in ECK Temples is often maroon, but in the public he actually appears in clothing more familiar to the locale.
You will recognize him by his dark beard, deep brown eye, and maroon robe, but especially by his direct, no-nonsense manner. This ECK Master lives in a hut, not due to poverty or a misguided avoidance of comfortable living, for he may appear in lavish surroundings if it suits his purpose. However, he knows that his body-like his humble residence-is-simply a place to be in, a shelter to offer refuge from the elements.
