¿We do the things by fear?
Today, I asked myself this question, because of a conversation that I had...
It was something like this...
The person who was talking me, told me that she had done her "work of the day" and I kept thinking for a few seconds, ¿her work of the day? I didn't understand.... And she told me a very sad story about a person who he helped. For me, it was something gratifying what she contributed. Then she made me this comment
"Well, God sees me, he knows I am doing good things"
I started to think a lot, and I asked myself…
¿Do people do things by fear of God's wrath? ¿Do they do the things for the forgiveness of their sins so they can reach heaven? or ¿just so they can say that they are good and the others are the bad?
Friends, do not do things because "someone" is watching us, because we are afraid to feel the flame of hell or tomorrow you carry the blessing, let's to do things for love of life, for love of people, let's do things because they are correct... A good action done for interest does not have a reward and, more important, it does not fill people. Let's be good if it is what we want, but not for believing that if you do not do it you are a sinner, and let's not judge someone who does not these things, this is an individual decision...
Reflect about the life, and you will have big changes!
I absolutely and fully believe that some day the human being with the necessary tools and a bit of common sense will determine the function of society, not letting it to mould his life making him a fleeting human being.
