Out of control - Why not take the control back ?
We all have our own problems. Some of us might even create our own problems without even realizing it.
We all have our own view on specific things.
Like whether you like a certain actor or not, but there is in fact, very little that is controlled by humans. We might sometimes feel that we are slipping away in chaos. This is because whatever we don’t control, feels far more important than it actually should.
Out of control means just that.
No amount of therapy is going to change the fact that life reserves to throw more sh*t at you that you can possibly handle. When you look at your own problems, they sometimes look like a mountain that you must climb.

You might feel so helpless and worthless, but it does not mean that everything is going to turn into a mess or that you have a pathetic life.
If you can get past this feeling of helplessness, and take more credit on how you are going to handle the problem, you might be surprised how some of your problems can easily be resolved.
What if somebody does not like you?
Are you going to sit in a corner and think of ways that you can make that person like you, or are you going to carry on with your life as if that person does not exist?
The best way to sort out problems, is to make a list of the problems that you have, or even think you have. Next to each problem, write possible ways to resolve these issues. This may take some time to do, but rather that sitting and worrying about the problem, use your time effectively to solve the problem. There might be more ways to resolve an issue than you think.
Be realistic.
We each have our own way of dealing with things, but this might not always be the right way. Look at yourself critically, because if you blame yourself, you are in fact criticizing yourself. Look at the problem from another perspective. See yourself from someone else’s eyes. What do they see? Someone trying to hold their head above water or do they see someone that they can look up to.
You can in fact change the way you think about things. Do not see your problems as obstacles. See them as puzzles that you need to solve. If one way does not work, go back to your list and try another solution. Remember, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Every cloud has a silver lining…. Be true to yourself, and be the best you can be. Be an example to yourself, and to others.
