I feel like one thing we rarely ponder is how we see and experience the world. Not the experiences we have, but the way we experience things.
Our perception is changing all the time, depending on our focus. Everyday, sometimes every hour, they change so frequently we hardly notice anymore and we rarely take a look at why or how we are perceiving. Try comparing walking to working on a computer, what are the differences in what you are aware of.
What beliefs are you filtering the world through. How does the way you see the world change when your attitude towards it changes. Does the way your body feel change the way you experience, can a small change in posture affect how we feel or experience things?
I’ve found things like body tension play a big role in how I see and understand the world, what have you guys found? If you explore this topic out on a walk or in meditation or whenever really let me know what you find.
