While it's summer time in the Great White North I thought it would be a good time to share what happens in Canada compared to the rest of the World as the temp drop.
Canadian Temperature Conversion Chart
| F | C | Around the World | Meanwhile in Canada |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 10 | People in the UK turn the heat on | It's still beach weather! |
| 40 | 4.4 | It's winter time in Australia | Shorts are still an option |
| 32 | 0 | Emergency measures for southern states | You can still drive with the windows down |
| 10 | -12 | Parkas for most, lots of clothing to keep warm | Pleasant spring, fall, winter day, if there's no wind the coat is optional |
| 0 | -18 | Spain closes its school and Government services shut down | Licking metal poles becomes a sport - move the laundry indoors |
| -10 | -23 | Car batteries freeze | Snot freezes, but it's Carnaval de Quebec - time to see Bonhomme |
| -40 | -40 | Most look outside, but stay in | Ear flaps down, don’t want a chill. Might consider taking the bus to work rather than walking |
| -60 | -51 | No one leaves their home | Hands get cold, need gloves when shovelling or working outdoors. Your moustache will freeze |
| -460 | -273 | Absolute Zero Hell freezes Over | The Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup |
All tongue-in-cheek of course. What do people in your country do when the temperature drops? Comment below and let me know.
