I'm really broken
The Problem
I might not graduate this March, a heart-breaking part of my life because of just one subject. I'm really unfortunate why I chose that subject not to take last semester. It is in complete destruction of mine seeing just only one hope to graduate, and that is tomorrow. This happened why I can't graduate and why I can't take the subject.
- Way back 4th year college (2nd semester), I worked as a call center agent full-time and studied in almost full load (except 1 subject - Industrial Electronics)
- When I'm became 5th year, I need to take that subject (Industrial Electronics) because it is only offered in the 1st semester and it will be not available next semester (the sem I am supposed to graduate)
- With that, I was not able to take one subject in 5th year (CCNA 3 / Cisco 3) thinking it is offered next semester. I did a check on it, and CCNA 2 was currently taken by 3rd year Computer and Electronics Engineering students.
- This came the main problem, it was not offered in the 2nd semester! :( which I expected to be offered, pfffft. Not only that.
- I was thinking to cross-enroll in other Cebu Universities, but it is also not offered. :(
- There was a subject requested for this subject, but it didn't meet the required number of students to open the subject.
- So I tried to open the subject today, only to find out that the deadline of opening up the subject was yesterday :(
- How came they say that, when two of my instructors was able to give me my final grade yesterday?
Promissory letter to enroll this semester
But there's still a Light
Few hours ago, I was able to plead at the Campus Academic Director's office to allow me to open a subject despite of the deadline for valid reasons. They managed to agree with it, only if our Chairperson will submit a letter regarding the said request.
I then immediately went to Chairperson's office to inform him about the said matter. Good thing our Chairperson wanted to confirm the list of students enrolling. He gives me up until tomorrow to complete them - It gave me a light.
But.... :(
Regular subject Schedule
Another Problem
Only three of us were sure to enroll the subject at a specified time (3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) MWF. As a consequence, we will be paying three the whole subject cost divided by 3. It needs 15 students for the subject to be not dissolved called - Willing to Pay.
As a result
A big big payment for only one subject. The tuition fee in this semester will be bloody - it will really be big. Another challenge to look into. With my approximation (90% correct), I'm expecting an overall assessment of :
P38,000.00 - P40.000
That is equivalent to $760.00 to $800.00. A really big amount, plus my remaining balance. I expect a very big tuition fee If I insist to graduate. I'm hoping first the subject to open will be approved, and facing the payment will be a big problem. I need to open and enroll it, its a heart-breaking part of my life to not graduate because of only one subject.
