This is a very popular expression in my beloved Venezuela, and of course it has its reason for being.
I am a very hardworking person, I wake up super early, I prepare a good cup of coffee and in this way I start my daily chore. Like everyone, I fight every day to take the transport that takes me to my place of work, sometimes I have to do magic to get on the bus and even, sometimes I have to go to the door and almost fall down so as not to lose time and arrive safely at work; but do not see this as a tragic story in my life, because to tell the truth, arriving on time to work is an achievement accompanied by a bit of happiness because of the collapse that is the transport system here in my city.
Then I have already overcome the transport and already in my work, I am ready to do my daily tasks that are not so exciting because I do not have a dream job, much less with a good bonus, the worst of all is not this. My boss is a moody and very demanding person and nothing that is done in the office manages to raise his level of satisfaction a bit, in a few words, it is not the best job in the world but this does not discourage me because this small part of me life that I just told you which I call torture, I only live it from Monday to Friday.
After all this, comes that long-awaited Friday, that Friday when you forget that you were pushed and squeezed on the bus, that Friday when you forget your boss's comments and bad gestures, and you know why? Because after Friday we do not have to get up early to go to work, because we do not have to see our boss's fool. Today is Friday, friends night, drinks, dancing and fun, on Friday you live as if it were the last day of your life. So do not forget your friends ... Today is Friday and the body knows it!
