Offenses must come our way as long as we are here on earth. According to Matthew 18:7b Jesus warns that they must come, the critical thing is how do you deal with the offender? According to Matthew 6:14-15 Jesus after giving the disciples the model of prayer, He gives an affirmation that if we forgive then we will be forgiven but if we don't then we too will not be forgiven.
This is for those who have a relationship with the Father, for as the prayer begins "Our Father in heaven" meaning that they have experienced true forgiveness from God and have an practical example in their own lives about being forgiven. Today as a Christian I challenge you to hold no offense against any for then you with hold your offense being forgiven.
