Yep, the issue happened again on my car. Before I cry you guys need to know what happened before, week before i was in the traffic on hecienda heights and its mountain road to cross whittier to City of Industry, i was in the single road traffic around 1:30 hrs,
While I was in the traffic my car suddenly pops all icons in dashboard and got turned off. Since it was kn the slope i moved the car in the neutral and parked.
After that car is not starting, i called the AAA and went to near by auto services.. they told that my cars battery gone and change the oil is a suggestion. I paid $194 on that day and it went well till today.
Today in LA there is huge rain and almost rained all the hours, while leaving my battery icon pops up in dashboard, I was surprised whether car service person really replaced the battery on that day or not.
I opened the bonnet and its got changed, So i went there but this time he told me that my cars alternator is not working and its needs to be replaced and it would cost $240.
Since its too late 6 pm , he said bring the car tomorrow for replackng the alt.
I was scared to drive that wat again, i dont have another option so I carefully drive.. and I came home.
Guys, I need suggestion that whether we can replace the alternator by ourself or not???
