Have you ever been in a position where you feel like giving up, or that position where you have tried everything, but nothing seems to be working out well?
Yeah this is almost everyone.
In whatever we do, everyone at some point needs a little level of dopamine motivation to continue whatever they are doing, we like little results to fuel our mind.
Some endeavors in life will give us feeling of progression, while some others will not.
Sometimes we fail without even making any tiny progress and sometimes we will make little progress.
Not getting any progress is why people mostly give up. The progress is what births results, and these results are the payment for the hardwork we've put in.
Unfortunately, we're required to actually to put in a lot of work before we see results, and sometimes we don't even see results no matter what we do, and this uncertainty is what makes people lose interest.
The most successful people in life added consistency and continuity as one of the ingredients to their hardwork, especially when it isn't even working well. Nowadays people want to see results the moment they put in the work, and they do not want to even continue.
There are so many things we will do in life that may not make sense and one of them is the ability to continue even though nothing is working.
There are no singular hacks or rules to success, sometimes people stop when they don't see results, at other times you might need to keep pushing the hustle even though you're not seeing results, it depends on the situation and circumstances.
We cannot compare similar situations; sometimes we need to push, other times we need to pause and not waste anytime, but then how are we going to be so sure that we're making the right decisions?
You cannot know.
Life doesn't come with manuals, if it does many of us will not learn the hard way. You cannot escape making mistakes, and the bitter lessons that comes with them.
Sometimes people are happy they missed out, sometimes they're sad they didn't.
Every decisions comes with rewards and consequences and while we cannot always make the smart decisions, we always hope and pray that we get more lucky instead of being excessively unlucky.
As a hustler, I've been more unlucky than lucky, because I've made costlier mistakes.
People who didn't hustle more than I've done have made even better decisions even though they didn't do as much, but they made better decision, this is why brain is always better than brawn.
This is why they say "work hard not smart" hardwork will get you results, but you'll need a lot of wit, intelligence and smartness to actually sustain the results of the hardwork.
If you're a hustler out there hustling for opportunities, you don't just need consistency, patience and hard work, you need the ability to make smarter choices, learn from the mistakes of others and know when to stay or pull the plug, this will save you a lot from time wasting endeavours.
