Entering the two days before Eid al-Fitr, almost all basic necessities suddenly rose in price, including the price of coconut, which rose significantly. The price of a coconut which was only around $0.7 before is now around $1.2. The trigger for the increase in coconut prices was due to the type of fruit which is a seasoning ingredient used in all processed ingredients for making vegetables or making cakes. Coconut fruit is used for coconut milk and grated coconut is also used.
Almost all stalls selling coconuts are filled with buyers. Buyers generally buy coconuts that are still in the shell and then grated by coconut traders at the same time. Even though the price is quite high, due to needs, coconut is still a material that must be purchased to make preparations for Eid al-Fitr.
This is just information in sharing about the increase in coconut prices ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Thanks for stopping by and forgot about me.
