My parents, are the hardest workers I know. Today, at the farmers market, this lady asked if she could buy 6 bundles of "zaub" for $5.00. I said sure, since you know, she is buying a lot, and they were $1.00 per bundle.
She told me her car is right there, so she will come back in a bit.
10 minutes later
She goes, "We'll did you guys sell some of these? Cause the bundles from before were a little big bigger"
And I told her, "Yes, some lady came and bought 10 bundles."
She replies, "Well you gotta sell me 7 for $5.00 now cause these are too small."
I said, "i''m sorry, I can't do that. I already gave you a discount."
At the end, she still bought them.
I just don't understand, it's not like they were significantly smaller. As a matter of fact, I'm positive they are the same size.
My parents work hard for what they do. They don't come home from the garden till 10pm, and they get up at 4am just to pack and are out of the house by 6am.
I am forever grateful for what they do to make our family work. I just wish I can be able to provide for them as much as they have given me.
