A man from Australia got involved in an argument with a stranger trespassing on his property. Just as things started to get heated between the two, the trespasser suddenly brandished a crossbow and aimed it straight at the man's head.

With only a split-second to react, the homeowner used the only thing in his hand to shield him from the arrow; his smartphone.

The trespasser fled on foot after taking the shot and was later arrested by the authorities.

The picture above was taken at a local police station as part of their investigation into the whole ordeal.
