Because last time I wrote an article with 10 benefits of drinking beer, I think is fair to write some risks of drinking beer.
1. Beer is high in calories.
This makes beer less ideal for people who are trying to loose weight. One bottle of beer has around 150 calories.
2.Interferes with the blood sugar level.
The alcohol from beer interferes with this process. This will leave you gorging on more food.
3. Beer work as diuretic.
You may feel increased urge to urinate after some glasses of beer. You will lose liquids through urine and sweat.
4. Beer can raise blood pressure.
This can happen if you take more than 3-4 glasses of beer daily. Try to control yourself even beer is so good especially when it's hot.
5. Beer can lead to Hearthburn.
Beer contains some stimulants which work with gastric acid, and it can lead to gastric burns, obviously being consumed in excess.
6. Can affect your cardiovascular health.
Of course this is for those who already have cardiovascular problems. Beer is not recommended for them.
7. Insensivity of gluten.
Some people have gluten insensitivity. Beer contains malted barley and barley contains gluten, a protein.
8. Beer interacts with some drugs.
