HOPE MONDAY HAS BEEN GOOD TO YOU.
Another long boring night until 4am then up early for breakfast as was going out with hubby, he was going to a hospital appointment and I was off into Hone Bargains to do some shopping. Shopping by yourself is so much easier (not food shopping). I called in to Home Bargains as they are cheaper than the supermarkets for shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc. I buy enough to last the month. They also sell alot more than that plus the Christmas stock was in so thought why not look for some presents for my granddaughter.
I was in there an hour just taking my time looking at each shelf then resting then off again. I had filled the trolley by the time hubby caught up with me. I bought all the Christmas cards I will need, I bought the gift bags, bought my granddaughter a big Mickey one that is now half full so her presents are just about done. I have even bought the wrapping paper so I can get little ones presents wtapped. I'm organised this year. We live over an hour away so don't get to see her as much as we would like with having Mika our oldest pup, she can't be left for very long so I have bought her some treats and things to play with, I've bagged them up and will post them tomorrow, she should get them on Thursday and hopefully my daughter will do a video call so we can see her opening them. I also bought Luna(my pup) some new balls, this girl loves a game of fetch plus likes to murder the balls slowly so boughtva packet of 5, she gets a lot of exercise as she plays all day.
They have allsorts in this shop, some weird and wonderful stuff, they have lots of nice things for women and skin. My daughter is having a real hard time sleeping at the moment as she's going through a few bad episodes off TMJ, its a horrible pain she gets in the side of her face, the pain is so bad that she can't speak and is usually in tears, theres nothing the Doctors can do other than pain killers. I bought her a memory foam neck rest plus some warming eye masks, I'm hoping these will help keep her face relaxed so she can get to sleep.
Hubby wanted to have a look around so had to go through the shop again, by the time I got to the car I felt like I had climbed a mountain and ran a marathon, My knee was burning, my back was breaking, I was so glad to sit down. That will be me stuck in the house for the rest of the week now. By the time we got home I was shattered, hubby brought all the bags in while I sat down for a while, My knee was red raw, that was the arthritis shouting at me for doing to much. I have to push myself or if I didn't I would be stuck in the house permanently, that's not living, once is better than none at all.
As me and hubby were walking adding the store we started planning Christmas day, this will be the first Christmas day we will be spending just the Two of us for nearly 33 years. We are planning on getting his Xbox set up again as we used to love a game, hubby is cooking then a Movie then snacks for tea, then he will watch his things whilst I have my Christmas evening on online Bingo, sounds a perfect stress free day. What have you got planned?
