Monday again hubby back at work my daughter is back for a few days to help out then probably back to her boyfriends for next weekend. She usually goes on a Friday night and hubby finishes early so we are all going to my new café for food together. Me and hubby have been already its going to be new to my daughter. I have something to look forward to, if we all like it we may start going every Friday for food, this will give me something to plan for instead of being stuck in the house.
I didn't get out into the garden yesterday, It was a wet horrible day where Mother Nature decided to give my plants a good watering saving me a job. There wasn't much to do out there, no change in my Sunflowers, still a few buds that were starting to bloom. I was hoping that when I went out today a few buds would have opened.
Its been a better day today not much rain so my Sunflowers will be needing an extra watering to keep the soil wet, I find when the soil starts too dry the leaves on the plant will droop then after a good watering a couple of hours later they will all be standing to attention.
A few of the buds have opened and look really good, my Big Sunflower heads are still looking good. There are a couple of heads that will soon need clipping off to dry out so I can harvest the seeds for next year.
I made a big mistake this year when putting out the seedlings I should have added a label to tell me the names of the Sunflowers. I planted.

Russian Sunflowers
Topolino Sunflowers
TeddyBear Sunflowers'*
I cant tell the difference between my tall Sunflowers, Next year I am going to add tags with there names on. Its easy to see the Topolino and Teddy Bear Sunflowers as these only grow around 15 inches, looking up I see the tall Sunflowers then looking down I see the small Sunflowers. These are Teddy Bears, I will be growing a lot more of these next year, I am going to fill pots with just them/ They are so cute.
This is the first year I have grown these, I wasn't expecting to get much from these but very surprised how lovely they are and how easy they are to grow.
Here are a few more of my Sunflowers. there are a few buds opening here too, I am hopefully going to be having Sunflowers all through August.
Next years Sunflowers are going to be bigger and better than this year, I am going to use my 3 gardens to fill. The front garden will have a few pots of Teddy Bears, then in the side I want tall Sunflowers and then putting both in my decked area. I need to start sowing a little earlier to get the amount I need.
The un isn't out but its still very clammy, I am still having to keep a fan close by or I get so hot I can't breath. Then I have to use my inhaler to ease my chest.
I had a phone call from my Doctor doing a check up on my Asthma, he wasn't very happy as its now as well controlled ads it has been. I am waking up coughing through the night then having to grab the inhaler to relieve my breathing. The Doctor has put me on new tablets, The tablet is called Montelukast 1 to be taken before bed to hopefully help with the coughing., on a trial for one month then continues if beneficial. I have been taking it for a few days. They are helping, I haven't woke up coughing since taking them. The Doctor is going to phone to check up on Wednesday. They will probably keep me on these.
That's another Monday just about over with, time to take the pups to bed and get myself settled. Night Hivers.
