I have been so busy this week, thankfully I managed to get to all my appointments now waiting for results. Today was my heart checked for hereditary heart disease. This had come from my father's side, I can't see the heart disease being a problem as all my father's side have lived to a very good age, I did find out that my father has it and still doing well at 98, he did say he had sold his soul to the devil so no suprise he's still alive.
Hubby finished work early so he could take me to the hospital. We got there on time, thankfully they were pretty quck at getting us seen. I was sat down for a few moments before my name was called.
Once in the room the nurse explained about the heart disease and what it entails. Its thickening of the heart walls. I first had an ESG where she stuck sticky dots to my body then attached leads, this gshowed how my heart was behaving once that was done I was moved to another room where I had an ultrasound on my heart. This was difficult for the nurse as I have Asthma, she had a hard time seeing behind my lungs plus I have quite a bit of scar tissue from my bust reduction. I had to wait out in the waiting area whilst the nurse went over my test. I was called back on for the results, they aren't worried about my heart she said if I want there for the hereditary heart disease check they would say everything is fine but with the disease being in the family they want the cardiologist to have a look, he may want me to have a MRI just to make sure, I'm not worried.
By the time I got home I was shattered and really hot, we are having another heat wave here. That's the last of my appointments now its the waiting for results. I have another busy day tomorrow, we are off to see my granddaughter Evie but sadly we are going to have to go once every other Saturday with the petrol prices. Last week we went through £150 on petrol, its way to expensive.
ME & EVIE
I am looking forward to getting over these tests then putting them behind me knowing I have one less thing to worry about and I can pass on the good news to my 2 daughters knowing they won't have it. I've got everything crossed, I need a good result.
Thank you for visiting. 💟💟
