I was at my daughters last week helping look after my granddaughter, I stayed up Two nights in a row so my daughter could get some sleep. I didn't think I had it in me to stay awake for one night never mind Two. I managed to get a few hours sleep through the day no where near the amount of sleep I needed. I could do this without any problem when I was younger but more In older with a few health problems my body and mind was ready to rest. I couldn't do another night. I cane home for a while thinking I would catch up on some rest but wren I text my daughter to see how things were she said she wasn't coping, so what did mum do, packed my bags to go back. Jess has started expressing her milk which gives them both time to rest, I was the first one to give Evie her bottle, she took a few minutes getting used to it then drank the whole 3 1/2 ounzes then slept for a good 2
I was there another 2 days with an all nighter thrown in. By this time I needed sleep so came home and have told myself to not go back for at least a week. I'm sleep deprived and with all the health tests I have to go through I need the strength to get through them.
I had a phone call from the hospital about the Colonoscopy, Gatroscopy, MRI & CT scan. These all have to be done within Two weeks. I'm really concerned about the Gatroscopy as hate anything that goes down my throat, I know I'll gag and be sick. They numb your throat and can give you a sedative which I have asked for to help you relax. I wish it was all over with. I can only have the sedative if I have someone looking after me for 24 hours, thankfully my hubby is taking time off work so he will be with me to help.
I didn't realise how exhausted I was until I made a really silly mistake. I had been in the shower then went to sit on my bedroom to dry, I was looking for my deodorant then saw a red pot took the lid off then covered my arm pits, my armpits started to sting then nurm, I thought I had had a reaction to the deodrant but when I checked the pot I realised I had used to Deep Heat instead of deodrant.
My armpits burned, I had to have another shower, wiped my armpits with cucumber wipes to cool them down. I haven't a clue what I was thinking as my deodrant pot is grey. I really can't get that tired again.
I have been home for 2 days, I'm missing Evie so much I would love a cuddle.
