Its April Films day 1st of April, it certainly isn't fun from where I am sitting. Don't think I have ever been scared to turn the heating on, today the whole country is scared. We have had a 54% rise on Gas and Electric, water rates give up, Council Tax up. Thankfully we don't have a mortgage anymore as that's risen considerably plus food and fuel purchses have skyrocketed. Wages haven't gone up but thankful the Government have given themselfs a £2000 pay rise, so glad they can afford to keep themselves warm and fed. Its about time this country stood up and kicked then out of power.

I refuse to put my heating on, the whole country aren't going to be putting there heating on this week mean the utility companies won't make much money this month, its the icky thing we can do to hopefully change what's happening. I have turned my boiler water temperature down a couple of degrees to.
Life is going to get harder for ordinary people here then even harder when the second rise in Gas and Electric, another 25%. How are we supposed to live. What about the people who have to decide between whether fed there family or turn the heating on.
The UK is the 5th richest country in the world, but its hiding so much poverty. Why would the 5th richest country have over 2000 foodbanks, foodbanks that are running short of products as the need is growing rapidly.
ONTO OTHER THINGS
I am spending the day resting abs keeping warm under the blanket. We have plans to go out shopping tomorrow with hubbys mother in law, she has her booster tomorrow morning. We are lucky her up taking her for her jab then going to Weatherspoons for food, my daughter Nichola is coming with us but wants to be dropped off at home after eating as doesn't want to come shopping with us.
Its going to be a long day out so saying my energy and hopibg the pains aren't too bad. I have noticed my knee pain more over the last few days, its been really cold, my knee has felt it and hurts so bad. That will probably be the Arthritis, I've also felt it in my spine, I can feel that is getting worse. Hopefully once the Sun is here and the tempreture warms up I should get a little pain relief.
Hubby is wearing my daughters hoodie and under the blanket, he feels the cold a lot with working in it all day. We need the Summer to arrive earlier than usual.
Its time for my weekly game of bingo, once I have played that I'm turning my laptop off then going around the house turning everything Electric off, I'm determined not to give the Utility companies more money this year, they have already made massive profits. I pay £100 a month now. Way to much.
