I have had another lie in, some days I think I would prefer to stay in bed as there's nothing to do, everyone is concerned about the Pandemic. We do need to go shopping to last over the New Year weekend. Hubby said no hurry so no getting up to early, I am certainly not a morning person.
I lay in bed until lunch time, I watched a few videos on TikTok, checked my emails, I had to do a couple of emails, Two companies owed me refunds they were really slow in paying me back. I then took my time getting dressed.
Me and hubby went shopping whilst Nichola looked after the pups, we have found that Luna hates me leaving the house, she doesn't mind hubby and Nichola leaving, she goes very sad. When I return she is happier and goes back to being herself.
Shopping wasn't to bad there wasn't to many people out. We picked up everything we needed for over the weekend. My oldest daughter and her boyfriend are coming for dinner, they don't want the usual roast dinner they want me to make Mince and Dumplings then for dessert my Homemade Rice pudding, she has missed it so starting the New Year with food we all enjoy.
Shopping done we leave the shop to go home, whilst on the escalators my legs gave way I had to grab hubby's jacket as I was going to faint, he grabbed me to keep me up. I made it to the car whilst he unpacked the trolley into the boot I sat trying to get my breath, These masks are horrible, they dry my mouth out then I can't breath, I probably should get a letter to say I shouldn't wear the mask due to my Asthma but I don't want to, I want to wear the mask and hopefully stop this pandemic from spreading more.
When we got home I got into my pyjamas and rested whilst the shopping got put away. There was a knock at the door, it was my Christmas Present from hubby that had got lost in the post. I had bought my Two girls spinning rings that help with anxiety so I thought I want one as it may stop me from ripping my fingers nails to bits.
Its a silver band with 4 decorated moving bands, I can spin those bands playing with them which will help me focus on the ring and not what I am anxious over. Nichola saw mine and wanted it she likes it better than hers but I said NO its mine and staying mine. I will have to be careful where I place it. I have been wearing it for over Two hours now and not once pulled at the skin around my nails.
I got a nice surprise, I mentioned the Two companies that owed me refunds from before Christmas, one has paid now just waiting for the second to reply to my emails.
Another day over another day closer to the New Year, fingers crossed 2022 is better that the last couple of years. We all need a few years drama free to get over these last few years.
Time for bed, time to relax.
