I am at last a nana, something I never thought would happen. Its been my dream to be a nana and show my grandchild how a nana should be, my parents weren't the best to my girls.
My daughter gave birth today after 3 days in hospital, she didn't tell me as she knows I worry too much. I should know better, my daughter is a rockstar, 3 days in hospital no pain medication accompanied by her partner who gave her all the support she could need. My youngest daughter cane running in my room this morning shouting Bean is here, Bean is her nickname. I think she was chuffed she was the first to find out.
We welcome Evelyn Delaney Ord into our family, she has so much love around her she's going to be a very lucky little girl.
Here she is only a couple of hours old and giving her mum and dad sass, she is going to be so much fun, I can't wait to meet her for real, I think her and I will be getting into a lot of trouble. Is payback.
I am floating on cloud nine madly in love with this little bundle already and am still waiting to meet her. We are going to drive through tomorrow after hubby finishes work and I get out of the dentist after getting a filling. I don't care how uncomfortable I will be I need to get my very first nana cuddle that I have patiently waited for.
I am proud of the woman my daughter has become, she's had to fight most of her life living with ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Aspergers, she has worked hard in everything she has done. She is going to be an amazing mum and her partner an amazing father. The amount of love I can see in there eyes with there little angel makes my heart glow.
I can't wait to watch there family grow and see Evelyn's life ahead of her. I'll be there right behind them giving them the support and love they deserve.
