I've had an eventful day today. We have been celebrating my youngest daughter Nichola's 26th birthday. Going back over 26 years remembering the good and the bad has been fun. The only sad thing about it is that how quick 26years have flown by. Nichola is finding being 26 a shock as she was just remembering being 16 and leaving school. I've warned her to enjoy every moment and don't worry about silly things as they always sort themselfs out.
When Nichola was born I already had Jessica who was then nearly 5, she was a big handful with being diagnosed with ADHD when she was 5, I was worried Nichola may follow suit but thankfully she turned out the opposite, she wasn't any bother, slept when she was supposed to, never getting into trouble, being a good girl never expecting anything. It was just aswell as we had our hands full with Jessica. There was lots of people back then who used to say ADHD was bad parenting, if that was the case then Nichola should have took after her sister.
We had our breakfast out, she loves the Eggs Benedict at Weatherspoons then we went to pick up her Gran for a shopping trip. By the time we got home we were shattered. It was a good day but very tiring plus my Knee wasn't too keen as I was in agony when I got home.
We've had some bad news, we knew it was coming just hoped it would be after Christmas. Hubby is being made redundant, they are cutting back as theres no work so hubby has a month to have talks with the bosses and possibly come to some agreement. We aren't really bothered as he is going to be having a few operations, 2 new hips and 2 new knees. He's in a lot of pain so the rest will do him good. He made me laugh, he said whilst I'm off I could start up my own Blog on Hive, me and Nichola were in hysterics as he hasn't a clue how to type, he would get me or Nick to type it out for him giving us more work, we soon told him where to shove that idea.
With him being home so much now he can't complain when I need a few jobs doing around the house and garden. His pain is worse because of work, working on a building site isn't good when your joints aren't working, his hip is bone on bone so the rest will do him good. The dogs are going to love him being home plus we won't have to wake up so early with him not getting up at 5.45 and me getting woke up at 6am to put his socks on for him as he can't do it. Things are going to be a little tight with money but we should be OK aslong as we are careful and hopefully once his joints are done he will have a few years before retiring so should be able to get a little job that will help out. He's over the moon to be leaving the building trade plus an extra bonus is he doesn't have to work with the 2 men he works with as they depress him with there constant moaning.
That's another birthday over, next celebration will be Christmas.
Thank you for visiting 💟💟
