Success has different meaning to different people,success to some people is all about attaining the highest level in their educational career,gathering all certificate that they can lay their hands on.I have a boss who is a typical example of this. He (my boss) can bore you for hours with stories of how he acquired a certificate,financed himself,read,wrote an exam,failed a course,passed a difficult level etc.
On the other hand,success to some people is all about acquiring material things,having a full garage adorned with assorted sleek car. To some,it could be jewelries, those are gold and diamond freaks; you see them always covered with precious metals.
Success to some could be money and making more of it; what tickles these set of people's fancy is seeing many zeros at the back of every bank alert. I once saw a clip by Denzel Washington where he says that "insecure people acquire material things to feel secure", to be accepted by the society or be seen as successful but they are still insecure because when you take away those material things, are they still secure?
Well to me,I feel success is about touching lives, helping people around us live a meaningful life. I feel success is about having joy in seeing people succeed because of our little contributions to their lives.
