When we think about it, It's pretty amazing what we allow to bother us, What we allow to consume our time, And yet time is supposed to be our most precious resource. Why is it, We waste so much just by worrying? Also, too much stress is bad for your health. I fully believe that's why there are a lot of people die too early!
Your Cleanliness
A while back, I realized something I had never thought about. When My environment is clean, and the setup is simple. I get more done! I worry less; I trip over fewer things. It sounds obvious, doesn't it? Why is it that so many of us don't keep up on that thing? We claim we don't have time, But it takes just 10 minutes at times! If you are behind, Spend 10 minutes every day until you get that perfectly clean environment, Reorganize, Get rid of stuff. You'll be amazed by the difference it makes.
Relationships
If you are always letting people drag you down, Where does that leave you? SOmetimes because of circumstances we can't eliminate all the toxic people in our life, But we should certainly try! You know those people that just make you feel empty and tired, Just by being around them?
Time
We are such busy people these days, But how often is it unnecessary? Sometimes I catch myself mindlessly browsing the internet. Not even paying attention. And then I get stressed out when I haven't' done much work. I realized something crazy last night.
My "Ideal" Day Consists of...
- Uploading my 40 shirts a day for my shirt business
- Ideally writing 4 Steemit posts.
I haven't been doing that. I've been convinced that such amount of work is impossible. And as I near the 4,000 tier and 80 uploads a day. I am becoming increasingly concerned that I may have to make some tough decisions. But there was a day where I forced myself to focus on those uploads, And focus on my posts. And I saw something amazing, THe reason it takes me so long to get things done, Is because I get distracted and lose focus. IT'S POSSIBLE to do everything I want in a day! Too many of us are convinced that a day isn't very valuable and can be wasted. But if we have that mindset every day, Eventually we run out of days. You can do a lot in a day, Just don't let yourself get distracted from what is important.
Health
When you don't eat right And exercise. You cause unnecessary stress on your body, Which later makes you feel like crap.
How can you get things done, When you don't feel well?
We all can work on some aspect of our eating, and improve somewhere. Try to give your body the healthy fuels that it needs to power through the day. We can avoid many stomach aches and fatigue just by fixing our diets.
Your Finances
Budgeting can be hard. Sometimes we have so much going on in our lives. We stop paying attention. Many of us have some debt as a result.
Not knowing where your money is going, Is a very scary thing. You should always know where your money is going!
There are sites like Mint. That will help you manage your finances. Or you can do it the old-fashioned way with paper and pencils. Knowing where your money is going will relive a lot of unnecessary stress in your life.
Conclusion
Daily stresses. Are well, Stressful! And much of it can be avoided. And should be avoided. We have enough happening in our lives each day, Which we don't need to add to it.
