Celebrating 26 years on Earth..
How are you Steemit friends? This is the first birthday in years where I didn't have any plans. I started my day watching Netflix in bed while eating candy, and I stayed there for a few hours. And that's exactly how I like it. No plans, candy, and Netflix. After a while, my mom called and invited me to a restaurant with her and my dad. We had such a nice time. Eating and talking.
Since I haven't taken any pictures today (not very typical of me, I know..), I'm putting in a few from this year, and last year. I've thought a lot about this last year today, and what I've accomplished in a year. I've become a much better photographer, more creative, more active, and I know what I want to do in life. I've also thought a lot about where I want to go from here. I know I want to make a living out of photography, and I know I want to travel. So my dream is to combine those two, and I know I can do that.
Become an even better photographer is first step. I want to keep shooting photos like this one, take on photo jobs, like wedding and such, and just breathe photography. Since I love nature photography, I have to spend most of my time outside. And I can't wait!
I need to go on more hiking trips to the woods, on the mountains, and be even more active in my daily life. I will bring my camera everywhere. People will end up hating me because I will always stop to take a picture.
I will travel more, not just in Norway, but to other countries. And I hope I get to do that soon!
London is my all-time favorite city in Europe, and it's a place I never get tired of. I have a friend who lives there, so I hope I get to visit her in the nearest future. I also have to travel outside of Europe. The first place I want to visit is Thailand, and then maybe LA.
My favorite time of day, is when the sun is setting. I think I've gotten some of my best shots at that time. No sunset is the same, and that goes for sunrises as well.
I'm planning on hiking over Hardangervidda this summer with two friends. I can't wait photograph that amazing scenery. Norwegian nature is very special, and I'm lucky to live in a place like this.
All in all, I have my plans sorted, and that makes me happy. I hope you have a nice day/evening, and I hope you enjoyed my post.
All feedback is very much appreciated!
Kristin.
