Woah, What a bounce back week!
How are you, friends? Some of you have written less than normal and since we don't chit chat every day, I am hoping all is well. This week has been absolutely lovely. I took Wipgirls advice and refuse to allow work to bring me down. I refuse to allow a situation that I have tried to change, change my mindset about how much I enjoy work and turns out this new way of thinking made a difference.
Work was pleasant. I went on a lovely nature walk with some Steemians. When and
return we should go for another walk together. I am amazed this man-made park is filled with so much nature and beauty. Next time I'll take pictures.
and the wife were the photographers that day, so I left it up to them to capture all the little creatures. It is was great fun seeing them and again and chatting. I love these mini-meetups and I can't wait for the Florida crew to reunite once again.
Last weekend, was awesome!
Can't wait to showcase SO MANY PICTURES WITH YOU! First time at a live soccer game with a professional team. Watching dad doesn't count, don't let him fool you. The Block party was a huge success too. Also, can you believe we are a couple of weeks away from Europe? You got that right, as of last Wednesday we are three weeks away from the big travel day. I shall be printing all my lovely tickets, exchanging for some foreign currency, and figuring out this packing mystery. It is going to be warm in the UK. I hope this helps to lighten the load.
Naturally, I've been watching some awesome Korean and Chinese soap operas and movies. I've been listening to a some of their music as well. If you follow me on the book of faces or Instagrams you will see all my fan club love. That culture has the most interesting random and hilarious videos. In the US, you might have seen videos of people opening the side door and doing a dance. Well, they have random trends like that in Asia as well. They have trends with random techno music, Brazilian music, and really cute couple pranks.
Friends don't let friends run Thirteen miles solo
Apparently, I liked or became interested in an event that becomes an event. Everyone has that one group of friends that run countless miles, they are the brave souls you admire for finishing multiple marathons and triathlons. Well, this one particular friend was injured and out of the racing scene for a while now. The other day, he mentioned a half marathon near to me. I like it in support, a friend commented, and before I knew it we were doing it. Started out with, it's THIRTEEN MILES, I know this are you sure? One said yes, the other said sure, and I am here wondering how we got here? We barely run 3 miles every day, how are we going to run THIRTEEN by December 31?
Be warned, that your gym buddies will not make a joke of races. Do not be fooled like I was and am! Now let me go find out how people train for this sort of madness. Stay tuned for madness. Love always,
