There have been a few challenges out there about names.
Its history, if you could change it would you, and I wanted to explore that challenge. I ended up missing the deadline for yet another challenge...
Yet, here I am still writing about it because I recently spoke to some friends that mention their online usernames. They are SOO random! Where does your real or online name come from? Most people ask about your Steemit name, but I wonder about your real name too. You see my online bestie, choogirl.
She loves Jimmy Choo and is a bada$$.
The name is obvious. My real life bestie, practicallyapro. She loves starting projects and learns practically everything about each project. You see, she is practically a pro at everything. See, what She did there, BRILLIANT! Before Steemit, my name was and is my favorite. I mean it's a really wonderful name. So good, I cannot wait to name my firstborn kind of appreciation and love for my name.
Thank you, mama!
Before Steemit, before my best friend, my nickname was "flower". Only Brazilians called me that since it was only said in Portuguese. Then I joined a blogging site and had to select a nickname. I didn't realize people made up crazy names that have nothing to do with their real name. When I wrote my real intro post called, my friends call me, Kubby I explain why I choose the name I have now.
The best name mind you.
I wouldn't change it.
My mom makes fun of it and most people think my real name is Elizabeth. It is not people, it is KUBBY! Pronounced cubie, like the bear and similar to the storage square. I just realized my sibling and I all have two nicknames. One in English and another in Portuguese. I also have a favorite last name. I really like the Brazilian family name Nacimiento. Do you have a favorite last name? That might just be me.
Would you change your name?
I wouldn't, it is short and sweet like me.
I have known many to change their name just to change it back and others just waiting for the opportunity and never looking back. Others have grown into their Steemit username. So, to answer your question No. I wouldn't change my name.
