Today I wanted to do something different and review one of my favorite horror films
So it's been 13 years since this movie aired and it's one of my favorite
If you like supernatural, ghostly vibes and dolls this movie is for you
Living in country with a lot of folklore background, I was scared shitless
The movie is about evil spirit of Mary Shaw who after her "wrongful" death starts to antagonize the people of Raven's Fair. We follow our main character Jamie who is unknowingly attached to Mary Shaw's background. After receiving her famous doll Billy and loss of his wife he returns to Raven's Fair for some answers. Will he unwind the ghostly strings that goes through his whole town, well you'll just have to watch it and see xD
In the opening credits we can see the making of the doll, which is pretty cool and spooky because of the background song, I got chills
To me this is a great and scary movie with graphic content ( like the faces of dead people) and overall some messed up scenes. It has some kind of humor in it but not enough to forget about the scary facts.
- Good to know : Um it's a great movie, I like it very much, I watch a lot of horror movies and this one..few years ago I had problems sleeping because of it, so myb better watching it with someone xD
