Utah is known for its large variety of minerals, gems, and rocks. So we decided we would try our luck and head out to Topaz mountain. Which we did have some luck there. There is topaz all over the washes, but since it has been exposed to the sun, it will lose its color. the only way to get real topaz is by digging(which is really hammering the shit out of rhyolite...)
After that great adventure we tried to find some other cool minerals like pyrite, and root beer onyx, but we could only find some agate... Great trip tho...
