The cat with free medical aid. That's what we call her/him now. Here follows the story of 'Mzuri' the cat. Or Tommy as we've recently found out he is called...
So early this year when we still stayed at this apartment block in the Cape Town city bowl we kind-of adopted this stray street cat type of character. We called what we thought was a 'her' Mzuri which means 'good in Swahili.
We always wanted a cat but the landlord never permitted it and also, we knew we were moving soon and didn't feel we had a stable enough situation for a kitty yet. So when our neighbour posted in the apartment block chat group that he is moving out and looking for someone to take care of a stray cat he harboured, I immediately said "Hell yes of course!".
And along came Mzuri.
For a while it was a 'he' as the neighbour told us, then Superbike_z's mom (who is a vet) told us to feel around the back for a 'protrusion' (testicles or something perhaps) - so we did and found nothing, hence we assumed 'he' was a 'she' and named the cat Mzuri.
Wait, I realized this is a pretty long story. I might have to tell it in parts - so let's stop here for now, as I have to go feed our new cat 'Neon' and then we will continue tomorrow or another day, but basically, keep a lookout for the next blog {Life's good if you have a cat / The story of the cat we named 'Mzuri'} LOL sorry just realized this will be a series, as I've got stories for dayz ;)
Thanks for reading,

PS - is me and my partner's concept and it means 'little by little'. ('Kidogo' means little in Swahili) Also he is tall and I am small 😅 if that makes any sense. Also we are completely new here and trying to find out what to do and how to do it, but take note we are here to make friends, not earn coin/s--------------------[oops the cat did that] and not sure how to go about starting out... what would you advise?
