Most of us who live in first world, or even a lot of third world countries quite often take for granted some of the simplest things (I know I do).
The basic right of clean running water, food and shelter, which we often have in our countries is very significant, and I feel that sometimes we do not appreciate this enough. When I come across a video as terrible as the one below about The World's Dirtiest River, it really makes me take the time to think about the hardships of others and really to appreciate and know how lucky we are, and that we need to give back to those in much greater need!
I'm not sure how many of you have seen this before but the dirtiest river in the world is the Citarum River, Indonesia. The River is so polluted, discolored that you can barely see through the water, hell at the basin most of the river isn't even 'water', it's mainly composed of a mixture of millions of tonnes of chemicals that factories dump each year into the River where people use for cleaning, brushing their teeth and drinking.
