I didnt go to the Auction last night due to lack of funds and energy but i did get up this morning and gathered my roosters and came to the flea market. When i got here John, my rabbit guy, had a litter of 5 rescued kittens that he said the mother had been killed by a car. He asked if I'd take them and i said yes. Later in the day Michelle, a self-proclaimed kitten rescuer said she would take them and make sure they got proper care. Good ending to my part of the story. I was also able to sell George, the rooster i had picked up for free off of Craigslist so now i have the funds to come back to market again tomorrow. Saw an ad on Craigslist for a free gander but was informed he was already gone. Probably for the best. On sale now: 2 silky roosters, 3 bantam roosters, 2 young roosters and a parakeet with a cage. Bonnie says the pregnant cat at our place had her babies but she wont show them to us. So there are more kittens on the horizon. Next Saturday is the Farm Swap if i have anything left after tomorrow. And the Auction the 4th Friday. Life, and business, rolls on.
