Don't go for the beautiful looks without a good character. Don't be deceived that your future partner will change their bad attitude when you guys eventually get married. Be ready to bear their flaws or better still take your leave before the marriage proper.
Choose someone that will bear your flaws and understand you for who you are and not what you have.
Learn to leave the table were love is no longer serve, appreciate yourself and don't let your happiness be dependent on anyone.
Don't allow anyone to play with your emotions and inflict pain in your life. I can hardly be sad because l have learnt not to be dependent on anyone for my happiness.
Don't fall prey to people who have delight in seeing your emotion toiled with. Life is too short to allow the wrong people to stop you from meeting the right one that you deserve.
