Marriage is a union of a man and a woman as a husband and wife, coming together to form a family. Marriage is a sacred entity that brings joy and happiness to the soul and spirit, but this isn’t the case in marriages around the world today. Infact most people’s happiness ends immediately they got married and this singular point have made marriage a significant factor of consideration in our lives. As the saying have it. “fail to plan is to plan to fail”. Thought about marriage shouldn’t just start when we reach the age of hanging out and dating the opposite sex but rather it should start earlier than that. A lot of mistakes we make in choosing the right partner is because we don’t have the idea person in our minds. We end up exercising try and error method in search of a partner. This have led to so many problems in marriage. I once told my car mechanics that going out for what you like most matters a lot even when the stuff doesn’t look that good. I had a car that really gave me a lot of issues, but I didn’t complain much because I loved the car and I would spend more money to have the car fixed. In other hands, I bought another car which is still good, but I didn’t love he car as much as I loved the first one, any small issues this car had, I used to be very angry, I didn’t like taking care of the car. The same goes with marriage, if you have an idea partner in your mind and the quality your looking out for, once you set your eyes on it, you will be convinced enough to make your decision. Let’s look at JONAS story and it will excite us more and add more light to what we are saying.
JONA'S STORY
My name is Jona's, I’m 32 years of age and I will like to share a very important story with you guys. I was born into a middle-class family of 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls, I was the fifth child. Though our parents are working but they struggled in raising us up. I thank my family for teaching us how to pray to God and learning how to let our intention be known to God. A prayer that one says when he/she is small have a way of reshaping his future. I remember each time I kneel to pray, I always ask God for a happy home, God fearing Wife, hardworking and a very good cook. I was 10 at the time and this was the prayers on my lips. Those prayers continued even at the helm of adolescence stage when youthful exuberance seems to take my thoughts away. I have met a lot of ladies but those qualities I have in my mind helped me in choosing the right person and because I have always prayed for it, it played out well that the woman I have been married to possesses those qualities.

- Sometimes prayers and vision we have when we are small have a magic twist in our destiny. I encourage young people to be patient and start early to think about the kind of man or woman they want to spend the rest of their life with.
