Merriam-webster defines 'rich' as:
- having a lot of money and possessions
- very expensive and beautiful, impressive, etc.
- having or supplying a large amount of something that is wanted or needed
The first and second definitions are common knowledge, we will look at the what is overlooked. The third definition of ‘rich’: having or supplying a large amount of something that is wanted or needed.
Due to our preconception about wealth being defined only in the financial form, we often tend to overlook true inherit riches which are in others forms.
Just because you are not having physical cash and assets does not mean you are poor. Just as we are all different from each other, so is our wealth also diverse.
Latent wealth is the inborn gifts, talents and abilities within you that you might have overlooked while trying to conform and fit into the modern definition of society and life.
Your latent wealth could be in any of these forms:
- a good voice for singing - have you ever noticed the quality voices in X-Factor?
- authoring - everyone can write, start by being concise and consistent, then learn and improve
- a hobby, what you do for a simple hobby could be turned into a multi-million dollar business
Everyone is unique hence there are countless form of latent wealth for the countless population. All you have to do is look into yourself to identify what potential there is in you that you could develop into a profession or business.
In reality we all are rich and yet poor at the same time, we just didn’t know it, all we need to do is to find our latent wealth, develop and unleash it.
