I just watched the video titled, "Happiness is a Journey, Not a Destination" by Gaur Gopal Das Prabhu and felt like sharing.
For my friends who don't know who this great man is - he is a monk, he is someone who realized where true happiness and contentment lies in, he is someone who despite having an Electrical Engineer degree, having worked with HP renounced a life of comfort and decided to be a life coach in order to guide the ignorant souls of today's generation towards the right path..
I am a big time follower of Prabhu ji, his small videos on different aspects of life gets instant smile on my face, a smile that comes from your heart and soothes your mind and body. His different ways of explaining spirituality to youths, his energetic talks, his logical reasonings and subtle form of humor, attracts, motivates and binds thousands and lakhs of youth.
We are living in tough times with our lives defined by deadlines, target and stress. Every moment we are in the hurry to do something, to achieve something, making plans for the future, charting out the course of action.. and Postponing our happiness to then.. But guys will ever our desires for achievement come to an end? Won't we after achieving one goal, be running after something other .? So, when will the time come to feel happy, feel blessed, feel contented, feel gratified for what we have till now.. ?
Swamiji rightly says, "Don't wait for the destination, start finding happiness while you are on the journey"
Live in every moment, keep finding happiness in every small achievement, in every small step you take towards your destination.
