Here's a quote for you: Everything you think is real, is only as real as your brain tells you it is.
That's a quote from a video game called Metal Gear Solid, and in the game, the main character started to question everything he believed as you progressed through the game. But is there any truth to it?
We go through our life just being us with most of us not even giving a second thought to where we came from or how did everything come to be. Most of us will just accept that either God created us, or that after the Big Bang, life came to be. They are the most notable theories throughout time. We simply don't know. Most of us will just accept what we have, but what if nothing is actually true, and just created by your mind?
As I'm writing this, I am hoping that this will reach people that may just be created by mind alone. Sounds crazy right? It is crazy, but it could also be truth. We have no idea how to prove our existence, science is still scratching their heads trying to figure out how life began on earth. There probably is no answer.....we don't know what truth is.
How could we possibly tell if we are real or not? How can you know that what you're reading is actually constructed by your mind alone? It's impossible to know that you are actually real, or that everything else in the world is real. The brain is a powerful tool that holds many mysteries, or is that what you're supposed to believe?
Maybe your brain is as simple as creating everything you see and hear in the world, and nothing else. Could it be that nothing outside of your mind actually exists? If so, can you really prove it?
And if what I'm saying is true, then where does the mind come from?
