New Notepad and Cardio Gains
Today was a light day overall but still a pretty decent cardio workout when you put it all together. It's also the first workout that I've written in my new training diary! It's a simple notebook but my wife had the cover customized with pictures of our son for fathers day recently. I absolutely love it!
The Workout Today
Light jog with backpack 3 miles
1 hour light kickboxing combinations, it was so hot at the gym today. All the heat was trapped and it was super humid so I got a great sweat on!
1 hour power walking with a strong dog, about 4-5 miles
I didn't go out of my way to train hard but still it's great to be moving around so much. I'll be picking up a lot of kickboxing training this week, bag work, pads, and hopefully some sparring too!
I love that my training log has a picture of my son, I'm keeping it nearby when I work so it's always going to motivate me to train when I see his little face :)
