Never be afraid of your parents, and do not hide anything from them. Be bold (of course, beautiful and reasonable) and tell them, if you are on the right path / make the right decision, they will support you right away. Many times we are afraid to hide a lot from them, thinking that they will shout if they know, will scold, maybe they will misunderstand us, but remember they only want us better. They suffer a lot for our small happiness, they always think what is good for us. So they can give us a little bit of quote. You try, one day you see your parents become your best friend.
