Celebrating our Charitable Steemians!
Since it's almost Christmas, this is a great opportunity to celebrate our Steemians who put in the effort to raise funds for good causes! Steemit can be an amazing platform for raising funds for charities or worthy causes. I have a couple of causes that I'd love to start raising funds for (in addition to the funds I raise for The Smith Family through these posts), and the amazing Steemians below have inspired me to start work on a cause that has been in the back of my mind for years. So stay tuned for a future post about this! But, for now, let's focus on the Steemians below who have already raised an impressive amount of money for their various charities and causes:
The @YouAreHOPE Project
Firstly, we have the @YouAreHOPE charity project that was founded by
in October, 2017. Here's a brief write up about what the @YouAreHOPE projects about:
We help people stuck in crashed economies or living in poverty and malnourished conditions here at The YouAreHOPE Foundation. We can feed about 25 people in a single day in many poverty stricken locales for about 10 SBD/STEEM more or less, depending on the country and current economic factors, but help a lot, we do, are and will. With your help, of course!
