studies show that it's none of those things. Mass Shooters are inspired by the media. The media continually reports on and glorifies mass shooters by giving them the family desire and releasing their manifestos to the world and inspires more mass Shooters. The El Paso shooter (aside from being a left-wing Nut Job inspired by Alexandria Cortez) directly directly cited the New Zealand mosque shooter as inspiration. Well if the New Zealand Mass shooter hadn't been heavily reported on and glorified by the media with his name plastered everywhere and his Manifesto released to the public then he wouldn't have been able to inspire the El Paso shooter. Because el Paso shooter would have never heard of him.
Problem isn't guns or this or that. The problem is the media. The media directly creates Mass Shooters. And Studies have proven that.
We don't need gun control. Or FBI watch list. Although FBI watch list can be useful. We don't need red flag laws or gun examination. What we need is Common Sense Media control.
Nobody NEEDS a journalist capable of firing off 500 articles a day.
nobody NEEDS to know the names of the mass Shooters. Nobody NEEDS to see their Manifesto
aside from maybe police investigators there's nobody who actually needs to see any of those things.
We need common sense Media control. Restrictions on what the media can report. And how they can report it. I'm not saying I'm against the Free Press but we obviously need some kind of Common Sense laws.
Not to mention the Free Press was created and codified at a time when the largest media Outlets were local newspapers only able to report and create a few dozen newspapers a day. They could only be distributed fairly locally. There was no such thing as national
It was intended for local newspapers and small print journalism. Not big 24/7 national television networks were completely motivated by profit
the founding fathers never would have supported that. They could have never even imagined it. If you had told them that they would be a box with moving pictures in it and sound they would have called it impossivke.
not to mention telling them that they would be some kind of World Wide Web with major news sites capable of serving 149 million people per month
Reality is that when the Free Press was written it wasn't written for those things. And I'm not against the Free Press but we obviously need some common sense journalism control. People get hurt from from unrestricted journalism. Unrestricted media causes mass shootings. And what we need is common sense laws to prevent that. People against things like that are generally paid off by Comcast and other special interest groups. They don't care about people. They don't care about safety.
We need to fight back against big media. We need Common Sense laws
