So, I've been feeling pretty under the weather these last few days and I decided to write down the 5 things I do when I am sick.
1) I like to curl up with some coffee or tea and enjoy a book. If I drink tea it's usually green tea.
2) I enjoy watching something funny to lift up my spirits. For me that was The Office.
3) I like to go for fresh air once in a while. For example, today I walked to my pharmacy to get my medicine. It was surprisingly refreshing.
4) Hydrate and Sleep! I remind myself to not forget to drink my fluids and sleep to keep my body properly running. I always have some water within reach.
5) Be okay with being sick. I know I am not a superhero and even if things need to get done I should be okay with being a little less productive. “Your body is precious. It is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care.” ~Buddha
