Ok, so 12 years sounds like a long time, but it’s actually just the date of our wedding anniversary. 
A lot of you may know Jason as a talented photographer and the founder of the Steemit #portaitcontest. Almost a year and a half ago, he urged me to sign up for Steemit and we’ve been having a lot of fun together with it during our time here.
I tried to find some older pictures of us, but that would require digging through old prints from the 90s and 00s, and I just don’t feel like hunting them down. But here are a few I snapped off of our Facebook pages:

Jason and I first started dating when I was in the 7th grade. One day on the school bus, he saw my Silverchair sticker on the front of my notebook and asked if he could sit by me because he loved Silverchair too. And the rest is history!
We’ve had some great times over the years, while also raising a family together.

Jason is an awesome dad and a great family man. Although we like to pick on him sometimes and call him “grumpy butt”. Haha, but I couldn’t ask for a better father for our girls and we have so much fun together!
I feel so grateful to have such a good man by my side, even though we love to pick on each other and give each other crap... I think that’s one of the contributing factors to our longevity. Happy anniversary,
