Which is the real wood door, and which is the “Vantage” MDF type material door?
The bottom is the MDF door, and apparently they can save you thousands, and are more durable. Paint can be baked on in a more lasting way, and they are more resistant to heat and marking/scuffing.
So, what to chose? For us we are going with the Vantage. For our kitchen, it will save around $9,000 compared to maple cabinets.
That’s $9k worth of SP I can now buy! Kidding, that will go toward the new roof I have to pay for since I found out Sunday night the roof leaked. Houses, I tell ya.
