the next one is from about 4 years ago ....HiWay's Mom - Lily- and 2 Brothers - Denver & Freeway .... Lily was rescued on the Highway in Denver, Colorado...she turned out to be pregnant.
The Facebook Fans of the Rescue Group that took her in named them accordingly !!
We applied to adopt Hiway and he came home 9 weeks later !!!
His first weekend home, we took him on a Family fishing & canoeing Trip !!! He really just bonded with us immediately and seemed to feel comfortable with new adventures.
HiWay today....about 4.5 years old !!! He is quite the LoverBoy just as the Rescue group predicted.... He is friendly yet still with a bit of the Shih-Tzu palace Guard Dog traits if you get too close too fast to his Fam or territory ...He is really a pretty handsome guy and quite the interesting mixed breed rescue dog !!!
